Debbie Vice, LPN
Vein Center of Louisiana specialist, Debbie Vice, is a Licensed Practical Nurse with over 25 years of experience in all areas of Dermatology and in the treatment of spider veins. She has become an expert in sclerotherapy, after many years of specialized and intensive training. Debbie is very passionate about improving the health and looks of her patients legs and has performed many spider vein procedures, using the latest FDA approved sclerotherapy solution.


Athena Larson, MSN, ACNP-BC
Athena Larson is a lifelong native of Louisiana. Athena completed her undergraduate nursing program at UL Lafayette in May, 2001. For more than seven years, she worked on the cardiac/vascular step-down unit and ICU at Lafayette General Medical Center. During that time, Athena completed her Master’s degree in nursing through the University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL, and graduated with top honors and recognition in December, 2007. In March 2008, Athena obtained ANCC board certification.
After working in the emergency department at UMC and LGMC, Athena joined the team at Acadiana Vascular Center in November 2011. She now splits her time between AVC and The Vein Center of Louisiana, handling patient evaluations and assessments, assisting during procedures and surgeries and performing sclerotherapy for spider veins.
